About APSSB CGL UDC Exam Pattern:
The exam pattern of the written exam is as follows:-

The exam pattern of the written exam is as follows:-
- The exam will be conducted objective type multiple choice questions comprising of 150 questions / 300 marks.
- every question Carry 02 (two) marks.
- The candidate has to complete the exam 03 (three) hours.
- there is No negative marking.

Comment: A candidate must have secured at least 33% or more marks in each subject in the written examination paper and 45% marks out of the total marks in the written examination paper. A candidate securing less than 33 percent marks in any subject will not be considered eligible for selection.
About APSSB CGL UDC Exam Syllabus:
The exam syllabus for the exam is given below:-
(a) General English –
Syllabus for General English Subject: The questions in this component will be designed to test the candidate’s comprehension and knowledge of the English language and will spot the errors, fill in the blanks, synonyms/synonyms, antonyms, detect spelled/misspelled words, idioms and phrases, a will be based on words. Substitution, Improvement of sentences, Active/passive voice of verbs, Conversion to direct/indirect statement, Shuffle of sentence parts, Shuffle of sentences in a passage, Close passage, Comprehension passage.
(b) Elementary Mathematics –
Syllabus for Elementary Mathematics – The questions will be designed to test the ability of the candidates to make proper use of numbers and numbers. The scope of the test will be to calculate the relationship between integers, decimals, fractions and numbers. Percentage Ratios and Ratios, Square Root, Average, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Partnership Business, Mix and Combine, Time and Distance, Time and Work, Basic Algebraic Identities of School Algebra and Elementary Serd, Graphs of Linear Equations, Triangles and Its Different types of centres, Congruence and similarity of triangles, Circle and its chords, Tangents, Angles subtended by chords of a circle, Common tangents of two or more circles, Triangle, Quadrilateral, Regular polygon, Circle, Right prism, Right circular cone, Right circular cylinder, sphere, hemisphere, rectangular parallelogram, regular right pyramid with triangle or square base, trigonometric ratios, degree and radian measurements, standard identities, complementary angles, height and distance, histogram, frequency polygon, bar diagram and pie chart .
(c) Common sense –
Syllabus for General Knowledge: The questions will be designed to test the candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him and its application in society. The questions are also designed to test the knowledge of contemporary events and such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of an educated person. The test will also include questions related to India and its neighboring countries, especially those related to history, culture, geography, economic scene, general policy and scientific research. State specific questions can also be asked from National / International Organizations / Institutions etc.
Comment: The total number of candidates shortlisted for Phase 2 (Skill Test) will be in the ratio 1:3 i.e. if total vacancies are 10 then 30 candidates will be shortlisted for Phase 2.
Phase 2 (Skill Test):
A skill test of qualifying nature will be conducted consisting of:
- basic computer applications (50 marks)
- word processing (Microsoft Word)
- spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel)
- slides (Microsoft Powerpoint)
A candidate must have secured at least 33% (16.5 marks) in aggregate to qualify the Basic Computer Application Test.

|1. Only shortlisted candidates from Phase-I as per prescribed ration will be allowed to appear for Phase-II i.e. Skill Test.|
|2. The skill test will be of qualifying nature only, marks obtained will not be counted for preparation of final merit|
|3. Candidates must have passed in Stage-2.|
|4. Final merit will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in written test only.|
