TS TET Exam Pattern 2022

TS-TET-2022 will be conducted in 2 papers viz. Paper-I and Paper-II. Candidates intending to become teachers for classes I to V will have to appear for TS TET Paper-I and candidates intending to become teachers for classes VI to VIII will have to appear for TS TET Paper-II. Candidates who wish to become a teacher for all classes from I to VIII can appear for both the papers, Paper-I and Paper-II.

TS TET 2022 Best 5 Last-Minute Tips

1. Revise Syllabus, Check Exam Pattern & Exam Schedule, Shift Timings

Candidates are advised to go through the syllabus, previous years cut-off marks, exam pattern, exam schedule, shift timings etc. to go through their preparation and stay calm. There will be two papers (Paper-I and Paper-II) with multiple choice questions. The duration of the exam will be of 2 hours 30 minutes. The question paper will be bilingual i.e. Language-I followed by English for all languages ​​except Sanskrit. For candidates opting for Sanskrit, the questions will be in Telugu followed by Sanskrit (Devanagari script).

2. Practice Previous Years Question Papers

Do not take new subjects. Candidates should solve previous years question papers as much as possible. Focus on revising all the important concepts, principles, formulas, important static GK and current affairs etc. Use the day before the exam to strengthen your strong areas, speed, accuracy. Set a timer of 2 hours 30 minutes and solve the paper to measure your solving skills.

3. There will be no negative marking, get the qualifying marks

There will be no negative marking. All questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), carrying one mark each, with four options out of which one answer will be correct. The candidates must be completely satisfied about the accuracy of the answer before darkening the appropriate circle on the OMR answer sheet. Candidates must have obtained qualifying marks in TS TET 2022.

4. Check section-wise important topics and preparation strategies

Candidates must focus on revision of important topics. They should also pay attention to the distribution of marks allotted for each subject. The content section holds more importance than teaching. However, one should still prepare the pedagogy section well. The candidates should not go deep into the topics that they come across while revising the important topics. Try to stick to what you have learned and avoid taking on new subjects.

5. Keep your admit card, ID proof, Aarogya Setu App ready, eat good mood-lifting food, sleep well and stay calm

Candidates must have your photo affixed with the call letter, a currently valid photo identity proof in original and a photocopy of the same ID proof that you bring in original – this is essential. This call letter along with a photocopy of the photo identity proof duly stapled is to be submitted by putting it in the prescribed drop-box at the end of the examination. Remember to follow the social distancing mode of examination related instructions, install Aarogya Setu App on mobile and carry only those items which are allowed in the examination venue.

Eat good mood-lifting food and stay calm. Sleep It is very important to keep yourself fresh for at least 6-8 hours before the exam day and it also helps in strengthening your memory. On this exam day, start your day with a fresh mind, full of positive energy, and drink coffee To keep oneself awake and refreshed on the day of examination.

TS TET Exam Day Instructions

The procedure for conducting the examination and the instructions for use of the test booklet and answer sheet are as follows. Candidates are advised to check them carefully before going to the exam.

  1. The examination hall/ hall will be opened 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination. Candidates should take their seats soon after the examination hall opens for admission.
  2. Candidates must follow the instructions given on the hall ticket. In addition, the candidate must, on demand, show the hall ticket for admission to the examination hall/ hall. A candidate who does not have the hall ticket issued by the TS-TET office will not be allowed for the examination by the Examination Center Superintendent under any circumstances.
  3. Each candidate will be allotted one seat indicating Hall Ticket Number. Candidates should just find their allotted seat and occupy it. If any candidate is found to be changed at his own place or at his own place other than the allotted room, his candidature will be canceled and no further petition will be entertained.
  4. Under no circumstances will the candidate be allowed to enter the examination hall after the commencement of the examination.
  5. Candidates are not allowed to carry any textual materials, calculators, document-pens, slide rules, log tables, and calculators, printed or written materials, and electronic watches with pieces of paper, mobile phones, pagers or any other device except that hall ticket and black ball point pen inside the examination hall/hall. If a candidate possesses any of the above, his/her candidature will be treated as unfair means and his/her present examination will be cancelled. He will also be banned for future examination(s) and the material will be forfeited.
  6. No candidate shall leave his/her seat or examination hall till the completion of the entire duration of the paper, without the special permission of the Center Superintendent or the Inspector concerned. Candidates should not leave the room/hall without handing over their OMR answer sheets to the invigilator on duty.
  7. Candidates are advised to bring with them a cardboard or a clip board which should not have anything written on it so that they do not face any difficulty in writing the answer in the OMR answer sheet even if provided in the examination hall/ hall. The surface of the tables made should not be smooth. , They should also bring their own ball point pen (Black) of good quality. These will not be supplied at the examination centre.
  8. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the examination hall/room. Tea, coffee, cold drinks or snacks are not allowed in the examination hall during examination hours.
  9. Unfair Means: Candidates shall maintain complete silence and attend their question paper only. Any kind of conversation or gesture or disturbance in the examination hall/ hall will be treated as misbehavior. If a candidate is found to be using unfair means or impersonating, his/her candidature will be canceled and he/she may be debarred from appearing in the examination either permanently or for a specified period, depending on the nature of the offence. If a candidate possesses any of the item(s) mentioned in note (v) above, his/her candidature for the present examination will be canceled and may also be debarred for future examination(s). Also TS-TET is covered by Act No. 25 of 1997 for the Prohibition of Misconduct in the Examination. If any candidate or any person commits any offense in the examination/examination, he/she will be liable for serious action including criminal proceedings.
  10. Rough Work: Candidates will not do any rough work on OMR Answer Sheet. All rough work is to be done at the space provided in the Test Booklet itself.
  11. Change of answer is not allowed: Before darkening the appropriate circle on the OMR answer sheet candidates must be completely satisfied about the accuracy of the answer as no change is allowed in the answer once marked. Use of eraser or white/correction fluid is not permitted on OMR answer sheets as the answer sheets are machine gradeable and may lead to incorrect evaluation. Candidates are allowed to carry the test booklet and keep it safe till the result is published.
