BSF Head Constable Ministerial Course 2022

Border Security Force (BSF) Applications were invited for recruitment to 11 posts of ASI (Steno) and of 312 posts Head Constable (Ministerial).
A selection process consisting of various stages like physical test, trade test and written test etc. So, they must have proper knowledge of the tests which they will have to face in each of the different stages. Day by day more and more competition is increasing, it has become challenging as hard nut to crack it. Now, here we are providing the prescribed latest scheme of the exam and the complete selection process, which can help the candidates pursuing this challenge.

BSF Head Constable Ministerial Selection Process ,

(a) first stage
(I) Written exam

(b) second stage
(I)
Physical Measurement Test (PST)
(ii) Short Hand Test (Only for ASI/Steno)
(iii) Typing Speed ​​Test (Only for HC/min)
(iv) Documentation (Checking Documents)
(V) medical examination

BSF Head Constable Ministerial written examination

Exam Pattern , The exam pattern for ASI/Steno and HC/Minimum written test is as follows:-

The written test will be conducted on the basis of OMR.
time period will be 01:40 hours (100 minutes).
written test will be 100 marks.
The written examination will consist of the following five parts:-

Parts Subject scar
Part-I Hindi/English language 20 marks
Part II Common sense 20 marks
Part-III numerical ability 20 marks
Part-IV clerical qualification 20 marks
Part-V basic computer knowledge 20 marks

The cut off marks for the written test will be 35% for general and 33% For SC/ ST candidates.
The questions will be set in both Hindi and English. Candidates will have the option to answer in Hindi or in English.

BSF Head Constable Ministerial Exam Syllabus ,

Given below is the exam syllabus for ASI Steno & HC (Ministerial) written exam:-

Hindi/English language , Candidates’ ability to understand correct English, their basic comprehension and writing ability etc. will be tested. Questions will be asked from error recognition, filling in the blanks (using verbs, prepositions, articles etc.), vocabulary, spelling, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms, sentence completion, idiomatic use of phrases and words, etc.

Common sense , It will include questions of both verbal and non-verbal type. Questions will be asked from Similarities, Similarities and Differences, Problem Solving, Relationships, Arithmetic Calculations and other Analytical Functions, Venn Diagrams, Relationship Concepts and Ability to See and Distinguish Patterns, etc.

numerical ability , The test of Arithmetic and Numerical Ability will include Simplification, Decimal, Fraction, LCM, HCF, Ratio and Ratio, Percentage, Average, Profit and Loss, Discount, Simple and Compound Interest, Mensuration, Time and Work, Number System with Questions on Time . and distances, tables and graphs, etc.

clerical qualification , The questions from Clerical Aptitude will be set to test the conceptual accuracy and aptitude of the candidate. It is the ability to notice similarities and differences between pairs of names and numbers. The questions in Clerical Aptitude will assess the ability to handle routine office work like filing, summarization, sequencing etc., apart from perceptual accuracy and aptitude.

basic computer knowledge , Computer Fundamentals, Windows (MS-Windows), MS-Office: Word Processing (MS-Word), Spread Sheet (MS-Excel), Presentation Knowledge (MS-Power Point), MS Access and use of Internet services available on the Internet, Communication technology, networking concepts.

The physical standards prescribed for the post of ASI/Steno and HC/Min are –

a) Candidates falling in the categories of Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and candidates belonging to the States of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir.
b) Candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe categories.

BSF HCM Shorthand / Typing Speed ​​Test

Shorthand Speed ​​for ASI/Steno Shorthand @ 80 words per minute in English or in Hindi for 10 minutes. Transcription of Dictation in English in 50 minutes on Computer or Transcription of Dictation in Hindi in 65 minutes on Computer.
Typing Speed ​​for HC (Min.) Typing at the rate of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi with 10500 KDPH in English/9000 KDPH in Hindi on computer with an average of 5 key depressions for each word. time – 10 minutes
