UPSC CDS 1 2022 Question Paper Official PDF with Answer Key: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) successfully conducted UPSC Combined Defense Services 1, 2022 Exam 10 April 2022 For admission of 341 vacancies in Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), Air Force Academy (AFA), Officers Training Academy (OTA) (Both Male and Female). In the UPSC CDS written exam, candidates were asked questions from three sections – General Knowledge, Elementary Mathematics and English Language.

On 18 May 2022, UPSC released the UPSC CDS 1 2022 Result on the official website. A total of 6622 candidates have qualified and shortlisted for SSB interview 154th (DE) course for admission to (i) Indian Military Academy, Dehradun by Services Selection Board, Ministry of Defense commencing in January 2023 (ii) Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala, Course commencing in January 2023 ( iii) Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (Pre-Flying) Training Course (213 F (P)) commencing in January 2023 (iv) Officers Training Academy, Chennai 117th SSC (Men) (NT) (UPSC) Course April Starting in 2023 and (v) Officers Training Academy, Chennai, 31st SSC Women (Non-Technical) (UPSC) Course is commencing in April 2023.

What next after UPSC CDS 1 2022 written exam?

The Union Public Service Commission will prepare a list of candidates who obtain the minimum qualifying marks in the written examination as may be determined by the Commission at its discretion. The candidates declared successful in the written examination will be detailed for intelligence and personality test in the Services Selection Board on the basis of their preference by the respective Service Headquarters.

On 18 May 2022, UPSC released the UPSC CDS 1 2022 Result on the official website. A total of 6622 candidates have qualified and shortlisted for SSB interview for admission to IMA, INA, AFA, OTA (Both Male and Female) by the Services Selection Board of Ministry of Defence.

Candidates who qualify in the written test and give their first choice as Army (IMA/OTA) are required to register themselves on the website of Directorate of Recruitment www.joinindianarmy.nic.in so that they can appear for SSB interview. to get your information. Candidates who have already registered on the website of Directorate of Recruitment are advised not to register again.

Success in the examination does not confer any right on admission to the Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Air Force Academy or Officers Training Academy, as the case may be. The final selection will be made in the order of merit, subject to medical fitness and suitability in all other respects and the number of vacancies available.

Two stage selection process based on Psychological Aptitude Test and IQ Test has been introduced in Services Selection Boards. All the candidates will be called for the first stage examination on the first day of reporting at the selection centres. Only candidates who qualify in Phase I will be admitted to Phase II/remaining examinations and all those who fail to qualify in Phase I will be refunded. Only those candidates who qualify in Phase Two will be required to submit photocopies of each: (i) Matriculation pass certificate or equivalent in support of date of birth, (ii) Bachelor’s degree with mark sheets of all years/semesters / Provisional degree in support of educational qualification.
